Teachers give us so much. A boost of confidence when we really need one. Extra help when we’re having trouble. A welcoming presence when everything else seems out of control. And though we know we can’t ever thank them enough, we can take a moment during National Teacher Appreciation Week to share our appreciation for the special educators in our lives.

Join NEA and the National PTA in saying “Thank You” during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 7-11:

Westminster Education Association thanks all of the teachers of WPS, they deserve it.

Teacher Deserve Our Praise and Our Support

On average, teachers work more than 52 hours a week, including 30 hours on instruction and 22 hours on tasks like preparing lessons, grading papers, and inputting data.  Unlike other careers in which the same method can be applied time and time again, teaching requires an individualized approach as each student learns differently and has a different set of circumstances.

Every day in schools across the country, teachers touch the lives of millions of children, and their work and impact extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
